The rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff members were friendly and patient. They even provided free luggage storage, which was a great convenience. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Kyoto. Highly recommended!

Set in Nishijin, Villa Front Kyoto Seimei ヴィラフロント京都晴明 offers accommodation with a flat-screen TV and a kitchen. A microwave and kettle are also featured. The room was amazing. Very close with the bus stop and Family Mart. The electric was completely. I recommend this place for everyone visiting.

Right in front of Kyoto Imperial Palace, Kyoto Garden Palace offers free WiFi in all areas of the hotel. The hotel features a restaurant, and it provides bicycle rentals and massage services. I liked that even though I don’t smoke, I could have. The room had an ashtray. I am off the Smokey treats these days but it’s nice knowing that IF I take up the ciggies again that I have a nice option in an excellent facility.

Sometimes it takes ages for warm water to come out but here it was almost instantaneous which was awesome. The staff was incredibly helpful and nice :)

Absolutely loved the character and charm of the hotel, the facilities, the lounge area for breakfast/evening drinks, ease of use of the washer/dryer that was there. The hotel was in a quiet residential section of Kyoto, yet access to Nijo Castle, the Imperial Palace and downtown Kyoto was very easy and within a 15 minute walk. Access to the train stations and Uber/Taxi's were equally easy. Amazing local restaurants within walking distance of the Hotel - highly recommend Daigan around the corner for an amazing sushi with an engaging/entertaining/welcoming chef.

Kokonoe Machiya er frábærlega staðsett í miðbæ Kyoto og býður upp á loftkæld herbergi, garð, ókeypis WiFi og sameiginlega setustofu. The best stay I had in Japan. All the facilities are clean and comfortable. The owners are super friendly, full of useful tips and offer valuable advice and just general insight about Japan and Kyoto. Every morning they prepare traditional Japanese breakfast for free. I hope I get to come back at some point.
