Seochon Guesthouse is set in the Jongno-gu district in Seoul, 600 metres from Gyeongbokgung Palace. The Korean-style rooms come with Ondol, Korean heated flooring, and futon mats. We booked this guesthouse knowing it is not a hotel and we would like to get to experience the traditional hanok house and sleeping on the traditional futon. The house itself was very clean and well maintained. We love the bathroom and the automatic toilet with a warm toilet seat :) There was a small fridge for us to use and the water filter with hot and cold water was always available. When we first arrived at the guesthouse, Mrs.Lee kindly prepared tea and traditional Korean snacks for us. Mr. Shin walked us around the neighborhood on the first night. We had homemade Korean breakfast made for us each morning. The hosts took their time explaining to us how to get around with the metro and the Korean culture. They went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great experience. We loved sharing the stories with Mr. Shin over Makkoli! Needless to say that we love our hosts and it just felt like we stayed at our auntie and uncle's house. We had an amazing time and will be back!

Seochon Secret Cave House se află la aproximativ 2,3 km de Templul Jogyesa și are vedere la oraș, o terasă și o grădină. It was lovely, clean, comfortable and beautiful. The host was lovely and made us feel welcome. Inside 500m there are lots of shops, cafes and restaurants which we enjoyed exploring. We also went to the great bookstore cafe up the hill for breakfast, which was excellent.

Such a pretty lovely house located right at Sejong Food Street where there are tons of eateries filled with locals eating drinking, having their rounds 2, 3, just like in Kdramas. Something in the Rain was filmed here & it's a stonethrow away from Gyeongbukgong & Tosokchon. The house is very newly renovated, we even settled most of our laundry here to reduce the load when we get home, they even have games for us to play together. When we went to collect our luggage before heading to the airport, even though they were cleaning, they actually offered to make a cup of hot tea for my mum but just then, our ride came. Touched by their hospitality too! Highly recommended!

The place is clean and tidy, with a comfortable double bed, 2 single mattresses for kids, and enough space to stay comfortably. It is well located in Seoul, close to lots of restaurants and shops, with train and bus stations nearby, allowing quick access to many places. The owners are local, friendly, and very easy to deal with and eager to make sure you enjoy your stay.

Quite place to sleep on after you have a long flight. Rooms have historic feel with old hard wood floors. very clean. Comfort bed, walking distance to everything, staff was friendly and helpful.

Just a couple of minutes away from Gyeongbokgung Palace, bus station and the food alley. The owner was awesome, very nice and very helpful. Highly recommended! We spent Christmas Eve at the house and Mr. Han gave us rice cake and fruits. A sweet gesture that we really appreciate. My kids enjoyed playing at the garden as well especially during the snowfall on Christmas Day.

Perfect for solo travelers, who organically want to meet other people. The staff are the real stars - very accommodating helpful in all regards. The place is in walking distance to a lot of important attractions and interesting neighborhoods.
