Seochon Guesthouse ligger i stadsdelen Jongno-gu i Seoul, 600 meter från palatset Gyeongbokgung. Rummen i koreansk stil har ondol (koreansk golvvärme) och futonmadrasser. We booked this guesthouse knowing it is not a hotel and we would like to get to experience the traditional hanok house and sleeping on the traditional futon. The house itself was very clean and well maintained. We love the bathroom and the automatic toilet with a warm toilet seat :) There was a small fridge for us to use and the water filter with hot and cold water was always available. When we first arrived at the guesthouse, Mrs.Lee kindly prepared tea and traditional Korean snacks for us. Mr. Shin walked us around the neighborhood on the first night. We had homemade Korean breakfast made for us each morning. The hosts took their time explaining to us how to get around with the metro and the Korean culture. They went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great experience. We loved sharing the stories with Mr. Shin over Makkoli! Needless to say that we love our hosts and it just felt like we stayed at our auntie and uncle's house. We had an amazing time and will be back!

Seochon Secret Cave House har utsikt över staden och erbjuder boende med en trädgård och en terrass, 2,3 km från Jogyesa Temple. It was lovely, clean, comfortable and beautiful. The host was lovely and made us feel welcome. Inside 500m there are lots of shops, cafes and restaurants which we enjoyed exploring. We also went to the great bookstore cafe up the hill for breakfast, which was excellent.

The property was located in the heart of the food district, so it was very easy to get lunch/dinner via walking distance in a quiet property.

It is well located in Seoul, close to lots of restaurants and shops, with train and bus stations nearby, allowing quick access to many places. The owners are local, friendly, and very easy to deal with and eager to make sure you enjoy your stay.

Quite place to sleep on after you have a long flight. Rooms have historic feel with old hard wood floors. very clean. Comfort bed, walking distance to everything, staff was friendly and helpful.

Very comfortable stay in a great location! Lydia welcomes you with tea and treats, and a tour of the home and the area, including good places to hike and eat. If this is your first visit to Seoul, you will find her inside information very helpful. Our family of 7 had a very comfortable stay and the guesthouse can easily sleep 9 comfortably. Some of our favorite nearby visits along with the other sites she may mention are Statue of Admiral Yi Sun-Sin, Statue of King Sejong the Great (and museum), and the Cheonggyecheon. Please note that the address on Google Maps and Naver Maps (LUDIA Crafts Guest House) will lead you to the wrong street. You might want to try 8 Pirundae-ro 1-gil, as that will be right in front of the alley that leads to the guest house.

Perfect for solo travelers, who organically want to meet other people. The staff are the real stars - very accommodating helpful in all regards. The place is in walking distance to a lot of important attractions and interesting neighborhoods.
