The Rangoon Hotel is in a prime location in Yangon, and features a terrace, free WiFi and a bar. Nice hotel: spacious room, good hot water pressure, dry neat and tidy. Very friendly staff! One of the hotel staff Kaung Khant kindly helped me to order bus tickets and buy a local SIM card.

The hotel is conveniently located. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Facility is clean, comfortable and breakfast superb. Hotel decor is chic and the building itself historical. The view from the window is also magnificent. The room may be a bit compact but not a problem for a solo traveller. However, there is a nice working table by the window, good Internet, TV network, strong WiFi and comfortable bedding. Most of all, the hotel manager was very attentive to guest's request, showed flexibility and offered helpful support. A good value for money. Definitely a return.
