Airport Gateway Motor Lodge is the closest motel to Christchurch International Airport, providing self-contained accommodation. Everyone from check in to leaving was pure joy. I have not traveled much internationally, but any other place I plan on going will have to live up to excellent hospitality of the staff at Gateway Motor Lidge.

This is a excellent hotel with the kindest, most thoughtful managers. The garden apartment was roomy, ultra clean, beautifully equipped, and had plenty of thoughtful touches and extras. If you are transiting through Christchurch airport, look no further, this is a great value for the money, it has a complete kitchen with coffee, tea and milk provided, it has a roomy bathroom and closet, it is close to lovely Burnside Park. It was a true respite for we weary travelers, and we were aided in every possible way by the fabulous managers, Paula and Phil.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, The Airport Homestay House is a recently renovated guest house situated in Christchurch, 7.4 km from Canterbury Museum. Comfortable and clean room, great kitchen, wonderful location if you are going to use the airport. Would definitely stay here again.

Sunny House with 5 Bedrooms(near airport) is located in Christchurch, 7 km from Christchurch Railway Station, 7.2 km from Hagley Park, and 11 km from Orana Wildlife Park. A wonderful holiday house, we enjoyed stay here for 4 nights (1 night a separate day). 8 of us stay in this house is very comfortable, will book again if I back to Christchurch with a big group of friends. The place was well appointed, clean and the bed was comfortable. The shuttle service from the airport was prompt and the driver was very friendly.
