This is possibly the nicest Boutique Hotel I've ever stayed in. The room was spacious, with a modern design, clean and super comfortable. Modern and clean shower facilities. The breakfast is great, with a mini buffet option and a la carte option for eggs.

Poet Pastior Residence is located in Sibiu, 300 metres from Piata Mare, and provides free WiFi. This place exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. My place was more of a suite than a room, with ambience that goes beyond tourist accommodation. There was a large bedroom with a high ceiling, big windows, a comfortable bed and some delightful mementos of the writer commemorated here. There was also a small private kitchen with fridge, microwave and kettle. The location is great: a reasonable walk from the train station and just a few minutes to Sibiu’s historic centre on one side and a section of medieval walls and towers on the other side. There are grocery stores and lots of restaurants nearby, and a self-service laundry within walking distance (in the Habermann Markt, not far past the medieval walls). The #13 bus to the ASTRA Muzeul Satului, a great open air museum, stops on Bulevardul Corneliu Copsu, the first street past the medieval walls. Just one problem: I hated to leave.

Casa Luxemburg is a newly renovated charming hotel in the historical centre of Sibiu, offering individually decorated rooms in a unique medieval setting. Hej, jag fick bra bemötande. De har gjort möjlighet att checka in mitt i natten när jag kom med sen flyg o fanns vattenkokare, te o kaffe i rummet. Man har allt som behövs o rummet är fint dekorerat fresh o med fint utsikt på gamla stan. Lugnt o bekvämt.

I have a back injury, and the bed will make or break a trip. I worry about it when I travel. After arriving and visiting my room, I was very concerned that the bed was too hard. I reported this to the front desk, who called Alessandro. He immediately went out and bought a high quality mattress topper and brought it to the room. The location couldn't be better. The hotel faces the piata. There are many restaurants and bars nearby. The Starbucks is next door. I adore the Romanian hospitality and will certainly stay here again when I return to Sibiu.
