Hoteller i Bab Mnara, Tunis

Maison du 18ème Siècle ligger i en historisk bygning i Tunis, 17 km fra Salammbo Tophet Arkæologiske Museum. Der er fælles opholdsstue og udsigt over den stille gade. The hosts were extra nice and helpful. they told us where to go and what to visit in tunis, how to find a buses/trains, they even recorded a message on our phones for ordering bus tickets to djerba. and they even helped us with packing our clothes. They gave us bottles if water for free because we forgot to buy some. I just have never met such nice hosts The house was more like a hostel. There were few shared rooms and one 2-bedroom room with private bathroom. There was kitchen and a living room (lobby) where you could sit and talk to other guests. The house was very old and authentic with colorful carpets and tiles and carved ceilings made of sandal wood. the furniture was old, but it was contributing to its oriental vibe. The house was in a quiet part of the medina but close to everything. great restaurants nearby.
