The size of hotel is quite big and outstanding for easy to find out. The staff was helpful when we asking for leaving the luggage and check-in later after 8 p.m. to know the information for opening the front door. The room is very big and quite clean. There is a hot-warm-cool water machine for free of charge.

Royal Group Hotel Xiong Zhong Branch is set in the heart of Kaohsiung only 5 minutes by walking from Kaohsiung Main Station. Great location on main road, close to bus station with new rooms and modern facilities, delicious simple buffet breakfast and free drinks/chilled juices/ fresh coffee maker, ice cream + snack at ground floor lobby for all day/night is a good plus, they also have a loundry room for guests. 7-Eleven and Subway are 3-5 m. from the door step and a short walk from Kaohsiung main station, very easy when you ride MTR from/to the airport. Rooms were not big but provided a comfortable space and a good bed/ mattresses with small fridge, flat screen tv with HDMI port, coffee/milk tea sets and clean bathroom. Free wifi made you feel good for digital life in the hotel.
