San Want Residences Taipei is a luxurious hotel located along Nanjing East Road, a 10-minute walk from Zhongshan MRT. Huge room, super comfortable bed, onsen style bath… and breakfast was excellent!

Jolley Hotel biedt gratis WiFi en ligt op 5 minuten rijden van de avondmarkt Ningxia. Het hotel biedt gemakkelijke toegang tot het MRT-station Zhongshan Elementary School. Zeer vriendelijk en attent personeel. Schone en goed ingerichte kamers. Ook was het fijn dat er een kleine keuken met magnetron beschikbaar was. De eigen wasmachine is een pluspunt.

I have to start with an unfortunate event that turned out to be very fortunate for us: we stayed in this hotel at the time of the 7.4 earthquake in early April. The event itself was absolutely scary, but looking back we were very thankful to stay at this place instead of anywhere else. The building was all moving and shaking, but there was no damage at all thanks to the construction of the building. The staff was very nice and helpful at all times. The building is beautiful, including the interior and the room! We absolutely loved the white colours in the room. The room was spacious and equipped with everything, with a nice walk in closet, an office corner and a huge bathroom (we loved the Japanese style toilet :) ). The location is great, there are two shopping malls in a walking distance, with some nice restaurants.

Het 新仕飯店-New City Hotel is gunstig gelegen in de wijk Chong Shan, op slechts 3 minuten lopen van het MRT-station Shuanglian. Het biedt betaalbare accommodatie met gratis WiFi. This was by far my favourite hotel in Taiwan! Compliments for the staff! Very friendly and just overall very pleasant both the cleaning staff and the front desk/lobby!. Loved the rooms so spacious. It had everything we needed and wanted. It was noisefree, comfortable bed and sheets. The location was great near some 7/11 and cute restaurants near Jiancheng park. Zhongshan shopping mall like Mitsukoshi mall with a Din Tai Fung, Ningxia night market and Dihua old town are nearby (If you like walking) quite a few busstops nearby as well. Will book it again when I return!
