We are a family of 8 and stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment. It was spacious, clean and very new. Everything is great!

SI Hotel has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Taichung. The ambiance and decor is so amazing. This hotel is worth visiting just for the plants in the lobby alone. But the rooms are also comfortable and we'll designed. The staff is amazing, so nice and helpful. My friends and I arrived a little early and worked remotely from the lobby before check-in. It was so gorgeous, quiet, and spacious in the lobby and we felt like we were at the best remote work cafe we had ever found. From the furniture, to the lighting in the rooms, to the breakfast in the morning, all of the little details are really thought through in the whole experience of your stay. It feels like what the modern definition of a 5 Star experience should be. It's not about how giant and flashy the hotel is. It's about the care, design, and execution of the details that make the whole stay impressive and enjoyable.

Set in West District, 15 minutes' drive from Taichung Railway Station, The Carlton Taichung offers classic guest rooms and a fitness center. Location is perfect and it’s convenience to park your car. The room is spacious and clean. Only one thing is that there might some dirt in the bed sheet because I ‘m allergic to it. Shower is nice. Temperature is good.

Airline Inn Green Park Way offers accommodations in Taichung, only a 2-minute walk from Kuangsan SOGO Dept. Store and Park Lane by Splendor. The breakfast buffett was great. The room was much bigger than I expected, clean and with all the comfort of a superior hotel. They even have a Business Center on each of their floors instead of 1 big one for whole hotel.

Kiwi Express Hotel-Taichung Station II is located in Taichung, only a 7-minute walk from Taichung Railway Station and a 4-minute walk from Miyahara. Free WiFi is accessible in all areas. Great 24hr lobby service. Stayed in a dormitory room that fits 12, so depends on your luck it may be a peaceful or noisy sleep. Bath towels, toothbrushes are not provided, so you may have to bring your own. Location is decent, a 10mins walk to Taichung mrt station and near to the bus terminals to ferry to Sun Moon Lake
