Located 1.1 km from Taichung Railway Station, The Way Inn offers 3-star accommodation in Taichung and features a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Room was very clean and comfortable. Receptionist was super responsive and helpful in answering our enquiries.

Short walk from the Taichung Main Station, approximately eight minutes, with plenty of bus stops around! Needed to be able to read Mandarin to navigate the bus stops tho; thankfully I knew the language. Room was beautiful, clean, great lighting, with a TV and free TV programmes! Had fun eating street food that we packed in bed. They had a small table and chairs, closet, hair dryers. Towels and toiletries provided for free. Bottles of water on request too. Bed was comfortable, clean. Love the place! They had free snacks, coffee and tea in the lobby, as well as a coffee machine in the lobby too! Toilet at the lobby too; we left our luggage at the reception as we arrived prior to check in, and was relieved to use the facilities :D

Situated in Taichung, Fudi Hotel features free WiFi access and free private parking. National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts is 1 km from the hotel. It's a very old building that they attempted to redo. Sort of succeeded. The bath and spacious bathroom was nice. Smelled of smoke and we found an old dirty duvet stuffed in the cupboard. Not too clean on surfaces but bedding was clean

Located in Taichung, 1.1 km from Taichung Railway Station, Norway Forest Motel - Wen Chuang Branch provides accommodation with a fitness centre, private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. The room was much bigger than expected. Windows and view were great, natural light and relaxing music throughout. The tub was big and relaxing, and the rain shower all made the short trip feel comfortable. Although I didn’t need it, the balcony view was nice. Especially appreciated the facilities and little touches to make it child and family friendly - the big ball pit playground and slide, the toy car area was very enjoyable for my son, ice cream at check in and balloon at check out. If our kid has fun, then it makes the stay much more pleasant. Staff were very attentive and helpful. I needed to leave for work several times and even early in the morning. They always answered my questions and helped call a cab promptly.
