Well set in the NoMad district of New York, Best Western Premier Empire State Hotel is located a 4-minute walk from Empire State Building, half a mile from Macy's and a 8-minute walk from Flatiron... Excellent staff, very helpful the entire stay (reception, facilities service, house keeping, etc.). Even after checkout, the staff was extremely service oriented, storing luggage until the end of the day and allowing us to freshen up, have a coffee and wait for our taxi (arranged by hotel). Perfect location, in a great neighborhood, with easy subway excess and great food options all around. Great rooms, we had the quietest stay with best sleep here in NY (compared to 5 other hotels during our trip).

Arlo NoMad is 2113 feet from Madison Square Park, 1056 feet from the Empire State Building and 2641 feet from Herald Square. The location was perfect. We walked most of the time to all the important places in NY. What was trully spectacular was the view. We saw Empire State Building from our room and the roof view was even better. Also, despite sleeping in the middle of Manhattan, nights were very quiet.

Spacious and clean room with a large bathroom and comfy beds. Perfect location for midtown and downtown exploring. Right next to subway. Also very easy if you need to catch a train to Newark airport and save $100 on a taxi, as it is a 5 min walk. I was facing the back so it was also very quite, which is not typical for New York. Although you get zero views there as there is a taller building right behind it. No special amenities or rooftop bar, but you're in New York - you don't want to spend your time in the hotel ;)
