With a pool and outdoor Jacuzzi, this boutique hotel is located just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants and shops in Kloof Street. Since the moment we booked the attention was top. We went for our honeymoon and they prepared the room with champagne and decorations, this amazing detail melted my heart, you can tell they care. All the staff is super friendly, they were so everything to help you with recommendations for dinner and tours. Derwent house is the best option if you are looking for a “home” feeling, all decorations are amazing, I wanted to buy everything I saw, you can see love and attention in every single detail. Breakfast was espectacular, complete and with good flavor. Afternoon tea, coffee and cakes makes the difference, again you feel taken care of. Thank you to all the staff Luca, Oliver, Gladys, Patience, housekeeping and kitchen for doing our honeymoon very memorable. You won two more customers for life! Will be recommending it as much as we can!

So quiet and lovely courtyard and indoor area to relax and work. Staff are super attentive. It’s small and very relaxing. Everything worked a treat. Highly recommend.

Este hotel boutique badalado está situado no sopé da Table Mountain (Montanha da Mesa), possui painéis solares instalados, bem na saída da Rua Kloof. We absolutely loved our stay at Kensington place. Our room was modern and had a spacious balcony with amazing views of Table Mountain. The breakfast was fantastic, could be served to the room, and was available late for those of us who like to sleep in. The service was also outstanding - they had plenty of suggestions, were very attentive, would put hot water bottles in our bed at night, and would offer to send tea up to our room when we got back from dinner. The lobby and grounds are also beautiful. It was too chilly to use the pool, but we enjoyed sitting around the fireplace. The area is very quiet and peaceful, and was convenient for exploring the rest of Cape Town.

Situada em um jardim tropical, esta pousada está situada nas colinas mais baixas da Table Mountain (Montanha da Mesa) e impressiona com seu interior elegante e vistas magníficas. Nice boutique hotel with spacious modern rooms. The location is perfect, close to city attractions at the same time very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Staff is very friendly and helpful.....thanks Sam and Sandy. I will definitely revisit and recommend to book.
