3 km from Parkview Golf Club, The Melville Quarters is a recently renovated property set in Johannesburg and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. 1) This is a spacious, very nice property, with 3 large ensuite bedrooms, with king sized beds 2) The beds are very comfortable, and the property is very quiet in the evenings. And Melville centre which is 5-10 mins walk away does have a strip of bars, and restaurants etc. 3) The area is safe and the property is very secure 4) This property is in a good central location. Melville is about 10-15 mins drive from Wits Univ, and the CBD. 5) There were no power cuts in the 7 days that we were there 6) The parking is secure, within the electrified fence of the property and electric gates, also the parking area is spacious 7) There is a supermarket and fast food outlet about 5 mins walk away 8) The owners live over the wall in the next house in the street, so that you have complete privacy 9) The owners Pierre and Corlien are very helpful In summary this was very good value for money

Very nice, clean and peaceful place with comfortable equipments. Good and considerate communication with owners Nice restaurants and fairly pleasant nightlife just a few hundred meters from the accomodation ( some bars and restaurants with nice ambiance ). There is no 9.5 score so I modified the score to 10.

"La Couronne" is situated in Johannesburg, 9 km from Apartheid Museum and 9 km from Gold Reef City Casino, in an area where hiking can be enjoyed. The hosts are amazing: friendly and helpful, and with a great attitude. The place is very illuminated, has a beautiful private veranda and everything works great. Location is also TOP with beautiful sightseeing of the city Skyline.

Impreziosito da un giardino, l'84 on Fourth sorge a Johannesburg, nel cuore culturale di Melville. La connessione WiFi è fruibile gratuitamente in tutti gli ambienti. Tutto perfetto, struttura carinissima , la stanza più spaziosa che ho avuto durante il mio viaggio in Sudafrica e la colazione migliore. I ragazzi che la gestiscono sono super gentili, grazie di tutto siamo stati benissimo! Anche parcheggio per l auto

Ospitato in un edificio storico a 2 minuti a piedi dai negozi e dai ristoranti della 7th Street di Melville, il Melville Turret Guesthouse offre raffinate sistemazioni, un giardino e una terrazza... Safe and walkable location, close to restaurants, a shopping center, and the Milpark hospital. The breakfast included hot items as well as cereal, yogurt, and fruit. Prisca did a fabulous job preparing a variety of hot egg breakfasts, solving issues that arose (had to reprogram a TV that was not showing Netflix), and generally providing useful information. The upstairs studio loft is very spacious, with a full size bathtub, peek-a-boo views of the city, a small kitchenette, nice seating area. The only caveat (for people with more limited mobility) is that reaching the loft requires walking up or down outside stairs, a bit steep and exposed to the elements.
