We were shown around the stables and were able to stroke the horses and find out more about icelandic farming. There is also an added bonus of the neediest cat ever to stroke and a very playful dog! This is a great location to see Northen lights if you were lucky like us.

As it is part of a farmhouse (the hosts live upstairs and the guests stay downstairs) there are only three rooms to rent. This means you have a lot of privacy, peace and quiet. However, due to its size, the accommodation is very basic in terms of kitchen facilities - there is no oven or microwave (you have to eat cold dinners and breakfasts).

The owner, Stefan, was very nice and explained us everything. There was a microwave, fridge, coffee machine and plenty of dishes to use, as well as a big table where you could eat simple meals. The bathroom was big with a drying rack (which was convenient after going to the Thermal baths).MurielFamily with young children
