Very quiet and relaxing location, definitely out of town down the sandy road and past the local family houses. Rural and calm. Breakfast was delicious and room very clean. The hosts were kind and helpful. Offered some information and recommendations about what to do & see on the island, lent a scooter and helped with transport. Beautiful off the grid experience yet close to the main town.

Such a great place, wonderful location, a slight walk out of town but I quite enjoyed it as well as being away from the bustle and noise of Moyogalpa. Tons of hammocks, clean and spacious property and dorms.

Daniela & Toni are the nicest hosts we met, they are so cute and courteous. The Ranch is beautiful with lovely dogs and some other sweet pets. The rooms were totally clean, so we were totally fine with everything. Breakfast was amazing, too! I only can recommend this Ranch!

Daniela and Tony are kind people with wonderful hearts. They organised us a scooter to rent and a volcano hike with Oscar, who is also lovely. The breakfasts are amazing. The dorm room is clean and each bed has a fan. The ranch is full of animals and it's a wonderful place.

A short 15 min walk down a lakeside road will lead you to Daniella and Tony’s rancho. Amazing prices and phenomenal hosts who will arrange anything you need on the island with a smile. We booked the private cabana which overlooked the lake and semi seasonal pond filled with turtles and beautiful birds. Tranquillo lives up to its name. Thank you so much for our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ranch. Only a 1km walk into Moyogalpa for meals, etc. Lots of interesting conversations, and helpful advice. Power and Internet outages are common, but generally only lasted and hour or two. Excellent value. We are already missing Rancho Tranquillo <3

It is right across the lake so you can enjoy swimming and the sunsets. Daniella & Tony are very welcoming and friendly. We had a very delicious breakfast made by Daniella. Their property is also so great, there are all types of animals running around and you can pick fresh mangoes from their mango tree. They were also kind enough to let us leave some of our luggage so that we could rent a scooter more easily and travel around the island.NicolaYoung couple
