Set on 25 acres of beautiful wetlands, Misty River Retreat is a 10 minute drive (8.5km) from Blenheim. The property has on site alpacas, which guests can feed.
All rooms feature floor to ceiling windows, providing lovely views of the surrounding native trees. There is a deck off the master bedroom where guests can relax with a glass of wine. Guests have access to a food preparation area that includes a microwave and small refrigerator. The private bathroom features a modern shower complimented with free eco toiletries. There is air conditioning units in both rooms for your comfort.

The location is fantastic, huge wetland on the property, the accommodation is huge. The view from the rooms is amazing, everything is modern and beautiful. The hosts are great, free range eggs, milk and bread included. It was the perfect place to be in Blenheim and will definitely stay here again next time I visit Blenheim! Also great value for money, we had just come from Kaikoura where for the same money we had a extremely average motel.

The cottage is an excellent conversion of a farm shed, done with taste and style, and beautifully equipped. You can walk to the Wairau River cellar door-restaurant and of course much further afield. The breakfast they provided was exceptional. Fresh produce from the property plus bread, butter, jams, yogurt, fruit, milk, orange juice & cereals. Loved visiting & patting the farm animals everyday, they were so friendly. Natasha & Jonathan went over & beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
