Very quiet and scenic spot at the end of the Kaikoura penisula. Close to walkways and Seal colony. I didn't vist these on this occasion as I was tired and weather was cold and wet. But great location on a good day. Itr's an old homestead on a farm with a campsite as well.

The location was very peaceful away from the town and close to the seal colony. The host, Peter, had excellent communication at the time of booking and before our stay. He was friendly, gave us a very warm welcome to his home and excellent directions for a local walk.

I fully understand that noise is part of a farm stay but we had a roaster outside out accommodation door shouting every 20 mins from 1am. We also had a group of people walk past our door at 8:30am just as I was going for a shower. If it wasn't for these two very important issues I would 100% give this place top marks, it was clean welcoming and fantasticly wacky.
