Oom Sakkie is an exeptionally welcoming host who helped us with a fully stocked fridge on our arrival so we could sample food from nearby farms. The sheep farm is a bit out of the way down a dirt road but the road is good and a regular car will do just fine. Enjoy the bright starry sky and the outdoor braai. Exceptionally well priced too.

Tucked away and remote, it is surrounded by beautiful nature and very peaceful. The owners are incredibly lovely, and there also is a winery just down the road (with exceptional wine!). A great location to stay over for a night or two if you are driving Route 62.

The accomdation is authentic and stylish, clean and comfortable. Located at the foot of the Langeberg mountains and slightly outside the main town, one could get the feeling you were on a wine farm somewhee in Tuscany, Provance or in some other rural European setting. Although this is a self check in, the 2 friendly dogs were most welcoming on our arrival!
