Aswan
Situated in Aswan, just 23 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum, Nubian Farm Aswan features beachfront accommodation with a private beach area, a garden, a bar and free WiFi. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. The farm stay has family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. We had a wonderful stay at Nubian Farm. We arrived in Aswan really late at night and they still arranged to ferry us across the river and gave us a delicious lemon drink on arrival. The place is colourful and peaceful, and the breakfasts were hearty and delicious. Mahmoud was very helpful, spoke excellent English and organised a small day trip to the Nubian Village, Elephantine Island and the Botanical Gardens for us.
Good and unique Nubian style room. near some branch of Nile river. spacious, private and quiet villa for 3 people. electronic mosquito killer which is rare in Egyptian hotels. good air-conditioner. comparatively good price with other choices in Aswan. Guess this is because the avg price for Aswan hotels is high.
Nice secluded location on an island (possibly) in the river Nile. Very exotic with rural surroundings & a village with farms just behind the guest house. U have to hire a motor boat to reach there, so it is a good idea to do your sightseeing in the city Aswan before you check in as the boat service is neither prompt nor cheap.
Very rustic...million dollar view, peaceful location such a down to earth village...like stepping back i time. Close to museum and archaeological site. Host was super lovely..Very hospitable Was the perfect stay
Wonderful guesthouse in a quiet location away from the bustle of Aswan. Elephantine gives you a glimpse of rural life in modern Egypt. Bayt Zaina was a very relaxing stay and the staff were friendly and available to help at any time. Would love to stay again!
My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay here! Our host was lovely and friendly and we were greeted with a welcome drink, which was a lovely touch. Had a lovely view of the Nile and the desert area from the rooftop terrace. Our room was rustic and cosy. Very close to the archaeological site on Elephantine Island and the ferry boat station.
The location is perfect to visit the temples (about 25mn walk). The neighborhood is quiet with a view on the lake. I've loved the nubian style of the whole place, the stone floor in the room. It was very simple and rustic. The staff was nice especially Mahmoud. They offer trip on their own boat.
Saif, the owner is an amazing host. He fed us with healthy juices. He is a most respectful person with a gentle soul. The place is a welcome haven after the Aswan heat. We were a big group, the rooms all branch off from the lounge in the centre, so it is a good common room.
This was a rustic Nubian experience that we really enjoyed. This might not be for everyone, but we enjoyed our stay with great views of the nile and met fellow travelers. This location is on Elephantine island and requires a 5 EGP public ferry crossing. The wifi was very good.
The view is magnificent, the owner is super nice and easy to deal with, food that you order is local food cooked nearby. The location on Elephantine Island is perfect - you are in an old Nubian village with farmlands, so it feels very rural but just 5 minutes walk away is a ferry over to central Aswan. Also, the WIFI outdid anything we had gotten in central Luxor. Will come back!
