Nel giardino di Dafne is situated in Stresa. This farm stay has a garden and free private parking. Outdoor seating allows guests to sit outside and enjoy the good weather. Wonderful stay. Welcome and hosting was superb. Lovely breakfast on a terrace with knock-out views. Beautiful and tranquil garden (but don't ask about the mosquitos..!). A bit out of Stresa so you def need a car but there is ample parking. Lovely to have a cat on the premises, too! Really would recommend.

Set in the hills above Verbania, Agriturismo Monterosso is a working farm from 1888. It produces its own meat, fruit and vegetables, which you can sample in the restaurant and buy to take home. Not sure how one can rate it below 10 – it’s been one of the best stays recently, if not all time. Owners are super friendly and nice in general, food is great and the place is so calm and fulfilling. Will definitely return

With panoramic views of the Alps and Lake Maggiore, Agriturismo Da Attilio offers a peaceful location and a traditional restaurant, a 25-minute drive from Cannobio. Beautiful place, with a nice view as it is 600m above the lake. Nice staff and good quality rooms! Perfect to start your hike to the surrounding peaks!

Set in Ticino Nature Park, Cascina Campaccio is in Taino, 5 minutes' drive from the shores of Lake Maggiore. This country-style house features a cosy lounge with fireplace. This b&b was nicely decorated, very clean and staff was very pleasant. It was a bonus to have a sauna in the room.
