Enjoyed my stay at the Rancho a lot! Very quiet and relaxing location, definitely out of town down the sandy road and past the local family houses. Rural and calm. Breakfast was delicious and room very clean. The hosts were kind and helpful. Offered some information and recommendations about what to do & see on the island, lent a scooter and helped with transport. Beautiful off the grid experience yet close to the main town.

We absolutely love Zopilote! The place has a very special vibe where you can find amazing people. The food is great and the permaculture farm is super fascinating. We didn't even leave the place for the first couple of days and look forward to coming back!

Small farm with lovely people and sustainable housing opportunities. Totally recommend if you look for an authentic place in the nature. Fresh farm meals and tasty juices at your desire. Peaceful.

This place is a must-visit! Osvaldo's kindness made everything easy. He picked me up at the ferry and made sure I had everything I needed. The wifi was strong, and waking up to monkeys and chickens was incredible. The food was homemade and amazing. Osvaldo's recommendations led me to hidden gems like Playa Primavera and a walk through his plantain farm – even got to pick some for dinner! This is the Ometepe experience you've been dreaming of.

The room was very clean and quite cheap. The staff Hostal Rancho was super nice. We felt really welcomed and home there. Also the small town of Altagracia was a very nice surprise! It is very cute and idyllic.

I really liked the location: close to the town, but you can enjoy the lake right in front of the ranch. The owns are super lovely and help you with everything and make you feel like home.

Everything was perfect. Daniela & Toni are the nicest hosts we met, they are so cute and courteous. The Ranch is beautiful with lovely dogs and some other sweet pets. The rooms were totally clean, so we were totally fine with everything. Breakfast was amazing, too! I only can recommend this Ranch!

If you’re looking for a beautiful property away from the hustle this is it! A short 15 min walk down a lakeside road will lead you to Daniella and Tony’s rancho. Amazing prices and phenomenal hosts who will arrange anything you need on the island with a smile. We booked the private cabana which overlooked the lake and semi seasonal pond filled with turtles and beautiful birds. Tranquillo lives up to its name. Thank you so much for our stay!

The cabana has everything you need, including hot water in the shower! You’re in the middle of the jungle, so it’s normal to expect some insects here and there, but it’s all worth it for the experience of staying in such a lovely place, surrounded by the sound of nature and enjoying a bit more of a rural life, which is genuine to the amazing island of Ometepe. Miguel was absolutely wonderful, super kind and welcoming and gave me very useful tips!

We had 10/10 service by the staff at La Selvista. Highly recommend the farm tour and nearby activities (Ojo de agua, sant cruz, San Ramon waterfall, cafe Campestre).
