Jasmine made our stay as comfortable as we were home! The house was spotless clean. She was super friendly and such an excellent cook! We ordered dinner and breakfast, she provided us with so much food and it was delicious! Wish we could book a couple more nights but her facility was so popular and we didn’t get in. Karetu Downs Farm Stay offers accommodation in Hawarden. Free private parking is available on site. The property offers farm tours, sheep shearing demonstrations and feeding. This was a unique New Zealand experience to stay on a sheep farm but in such lovely accommodations. The suite was beautiful in every way and Karen's hospitality in showing us around the farm was wonderful. Recommend to anyone wanting to experience real New Zealand lifestyle

We could not find fault with our one night stay including breakfast. The bed was heated with an electric blanket, an extra heater was immediately provided. Cereal, fresh milk, applles etc. ready in our fridge. Parking right outside the cabin. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. A great stay which we can highly recommend.
