Mohaonui Farmstay offers a cottage unit 6 km from Otorohanga township. The private, self-contained cottage features a kitchenette and a private bathroom. Best accomodation we had in NZ! Plenty of room which was decorated very lovely. Our hosts gave us a warm welcome. Totalky quiet- absolutely perfect to relax.

Often smaller operations are alot more styled, homely, clean and maintained than large hotel chains. The location was a little more out of the way than I was used to but still not far from where I needed to be and the farm location was quaint and quiet.

Very tidy, great location and the bowl of fresh fruit on the way in was a fantastic gesture. Having met up with the Labradoodle and their owner (one of the hosts) after dinner out we were even happier with our choice.

Everything is perfect about this place. The road from Auckland to the property was a bit rocky but totally worth the trouble. It is such a quiet relaxing hideaway and this is what I have always envisioned of NZ. Aaron and Danielle are wonderful hosts and make you feel welcomed and at ease the whole time. The dinner prepared by Chef Dom is also superb. Have to come back again for a longer stay!

The sunrise and view took my breath away! It is such a beautiful setting, and it was good fun to help feed the alpacas. I didn't want to leave!

Spacious two-storey apartment with a terrace in a green surrounding. Ground floor with kitchen / living room, first floor with sleeping room (up to 5). Good base to explore the Waitomo Caves etc.
