Super friendly and non intrusive hosts, they helped us leave our stuff early before check-in and also later during check out. The island was without electricity, their property had a generator that enabled the place to have warm water and light etc despite the power cut. They also had a complimentary afternoon lunch for the guests (and breakfast, obviously). Also close to some bars that are more low-mid range in price.

As a gardener, I could not resist this special place, designed by a landscape designer, for my first stay in the Atlantic rainforest. The beautiful grounds give way to total nature in steps. It was quiet and comfortable, a true getaway from it all but easy to reach town in minutes by boat. The walk to Abraao is worth doing once, but make use of the convenient boat to reach the more impressive hiking paths on the island. We enjoyed listening to the frogs and birds—watch out for hummingbirds and bright blue butterflies. The breakfast and dinner was fantastic.

The owner and staff of this hotel, besides being very kind and friendly, are absolutely exceptional at hospitality and very well-trained to make your stay as comfortable, easy, and pleasant as possible. I had some special needs regarding transport which they kindly arranged. The hotel is beautiful and comfortable and the location is relatively close to Vila Abraao which makes it one of the more convenient ones as well. Very highly recommend!
