Ashram far exceeded our expectations! It was our first time in Alto Paraíso and Eduardo was an incredible host, making us feel welcome even before we arrived and helping us with everything we needed while we were there (connecting us with guides and suggesting great experiences). The facilities were extremely comfortable and clean.

Everything! I stayed four nights and had three days to explore the area and only left the property once to check out a nearby waterfall trail because I was so pleased just to be there all day and evening. Perfectly content to just hang around enjoying the quiet and the birds coming and going.

This is an excellent budget option right in the center of Alto Paraiso. It is a minute walk from great restaurants and markets. Despite its location, it's quiet and peaceful. The hostel is simply but clean and comfortable. The staff is extremely kind, welcoming, and supportive. They went above and beyond during my stay. There is a fully stocked kitchen with pans, spices, and and even an oven. There are clothing lines for drying your clothes, and hot water in the shower. The mosquitos also were thankfully not that bad. Highly recommend if you want a cheap but comfortable place to stay.

Superb views of Poço Encantado Waterfall. The hotel is conveniently located between the main road and Poço Encantado Waterfall. It is easily accessible by car, just a very short unpaved way. After a two-minute walk, you reach the waterfall area where you can safely swim in paradise-like scenery.

This house is very good. The bed is comfortable and the room is very clean. The room is large and full of some furniture and equipment that made the living convenient. Staffs are really nice and helpful

Breakfast was fine. The hostess was very friendly, personable and helpful. Made good recommendations for some things to do in the Chapada dos Veadeiros and for food, etc.
