Quiet sítio just outside Macapá, very close to the University, with little chalets set in beautiful grounds. Dona Ivana and Dona Fatima looked after us attentively and made us very welcome. We dipped in the pool after dark and sat on our balcony and watched the sun rise. Very special place. Be sure to explore the grounds and find the jetty, meet the cows and listen to the chickens.

The place is a bit outside Macapa and therefore very quiet and peaceful, in a beautiful orchard with fruit trees. The cottage is lovely, with a comfortable bed, hot water shower, mosquito screens. The hospitality of the host is beyond, she even drove me to the bus station which is quite far, let me check out very late. I loved to relax there in between long boat and bus journeys.
