Very comfortable and spacious bedroom, with good water heating system and even a bathtub. Owner and staffs are all very friendly, they provided assistance in moving my luggages in and out to the pickup point.

The room was cozy and warm, relatively clean. All the basic facilities were there. Xixi, the owner, made us a tasty breakfast with coffee. She was also very helpful, recommending us places to go around Lijiang, and helped us with the transportation to the airport.

A 10 star rating is an understatement for the hospitality and warmth we received. The location is beautiful, a stunning terrace with an overview of the old town, lots of plants and pretty flowers. We got a room upgrade for free and the room was spacious, well equipped (best equipped room in fact we had in China). You can tell that a lot of love and attention to detail was put into the design of this accomodation. The location is very central yet quiet at night. The highlight of it all was the lovely, generous and genuine owner. She took time to recommend us great restaurants and vegetarian dishes. Checked in on us regularly to make sure we are having a great time. And when I was sick she even brought food and medicine. It felt like home and being taken care of by family. I have never experienced such a hospitality and am very grateful. I highly, highly recommend this place when you're visiting Yunnan. The owner has travelled all over the world and has lots of interesting stories and insights to share, definitely recommend you to have a chat with her over tea.

Excellent boarding choice in Bai shao. The room is cozy and comfortable with a nice court yard. The hosts are friendly. However, it's regrettable that the host wouldn't serve breakfast any more. Otherwise, having breakfast in the court yard would be a nice experience.

Great location, short distance from the old town entrance. Nice room and with great view from our balcony. We had a very pleasant stay. Great hospitality from the owners. Fang Jie, the lady owner, was very helpful and attentive. Do ask her for tour and food recommendations, you will not be disappointed.

This was a great stay. Tom the owner and his brothers were super hosts. the hostel was empty when i arrived, so tom gave me even better service. He even took me on his scooter with his little doggie to nearby villages. he was able to advise me on where to go and how to do different things in lijiang. he also invited me to have dinner each night with his family or friends. the bed was really comfy and warm. The water was very hot. the room was very big. the hostel is about a ten minute walk from old town, but its far enough away to be quiet for a nice rest at night. I will definitely be back to visit tom and his family in the hostel.

Johnson was a very considerate host and made us all feel very comfortable during our stay. Our children loved being with his pet dog and we all enjoyed walking and hiking together (including the dog who came along too). The old town was very close by and had some very comfortable coffee shops and local foods. The attractions in the main city were very enjoyable and our host Johnson offered to take us there in his car at no cost :) We enjoyed a few days hike in the mountains and were guided to the less crowded areas that suited our stay. Thank you Johnson, we really enjoyed our time with you.

We liked everything in here. The owner lady welcomed us at the train station and she didn't charge us for the ride. At the guest house, which is something like less than a 10 minute walk to the old city, she also invited us for a cup of tea. She speaks good English and is very helpful with anything you need. She also makes yummy breakfasts that we didn't find elsewhere in China!!! The furniture at the reception is a bit oldie in our opinion but it simply reflects the Chinese style so don't get discouraged by that. It was all great for us.
