Can't fault our stay here! Such a beautiful setting right by the river (which you can easily access down a short flight of steps for a paddle/swim), you immediately feel relaxed when you arrive. Only a short moto-taxi ride from Minca town (should cost 5k COP per person to the end of the main road, and then a 10 min walk, or 12k pp for them to take you to the hostel itself) or a 40-60 min walk if you need some exeyrcise.. Lots of excellent things to do in the area which the super-helpful staff can book tours for/give you the info for to go under your own steam. A nice breakfast is included with free coffee available all day, as well as drinking water. The room we stayed in had an en-suite which was open-air to the jungle - makes for a very atmospheric shower if you like that kind of thing! The room itself was very clean and comfortable, and you can hear the river at night which was gorgeous. There are some super friendly furry friends to keep you company whilst you hang out in the restaurant area - two cats and two dogs, who made our stay even more of a pleasure. We only wish we could have stayed for longer! The perfect base to explore Minca or to just hang out and relax.

What an amazing place!! It’s a frikking challenge to get there, but it’s worth it. You need to take a private 4x4 from Minca for 25$us or sit on the back of a motorbike to get there. You can’t drive your own car. Once there, fan only rooms(but it’s colder in the hills) middle of the jungle, great pool, vegetarian only food served for 5$us per day. Go walking at dawn to see local toucans. Go to the coffee/chocolate tour 20min walk. Life is good. Lovely people.

My room at Coffee House Minca was very clean, and almost brand new. It is located close enough to cafes and restaurants to walk within a minute or so, but also very quiet at night. Breakfast is delicious!

Really cute hostel with nice staff, a refreshing pool, and a great view over Minca (and towards Santa Marta). The breakfast is also pretty solid.

The owner is wonderful and helpful. It's in a very cool location outside of town center, with a really nice sub 10 minute walk to the center. There is also easy access to the nearby river.
