Best sunset on the beach! The Fenix was just purchased by the new owners and they were starting some renos but our stay was really enjoyable even with the little bit of construction going on. The rooms are a good size and have small kitchens which is great. The location is awesome and you can walk to beach restaurants and the downtown area. There is also fresh fish and a small store right behind the Fenix. The outside sitting area is fantastic....so comfortable and the sunsets are absolutely awesome. New owners mentioned they were thinking of some upgrades including A/C which would be great too. We plan on going back for sure (and bringing wine....inside joke with new owners!)

Nice patio with a hammock and chairs to relax. Only 5min walk to the beautiful beach. Breakfast was very delicious with four options to choose from. It was also very quiet and our host Roberto was really very accommodating. We really enjoyed our three day stay here.

You can se monkey swinging on the trees, iguana running around, some pretty parrots. There are hammocks to relax in, fairly quiet during day time. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. It's quite close to the beach, may be 10min walking max, and the beach is really really lovely, much better, cleaner, and quieter than Samara, though Samara is 10min driving away.

We felt immediately at home in this charming and cosy place. Our Bungalow in the middle of the forest had everything we needed and more. It was the biggest and most comfy bed we've slept in during our time in Costa Rica. Everything was clean and worked well. The breakfast was delicious. We loved the pool, in the middle of a huge garden. It was a charming stay and we would have loved to stay longer!
