The rooms are nice and clean, though there are a lot of ants and other insects due to the forest around. The host ist very nice and always available for any issues. Only slightly negative thing is the location, as it is quite far from the small city. It’s 30 min by foot down to the beach/Montezuma or a 6000 colones taxi ride up/down. The host does however offer to drive you up/down one time a day. Overall we had a lovely time!

Howlers in the am, Capuchin and Capybera along with a few iguanas. Excellent restaurants nearby. Small fridge in unit, we bought a loaf of bread and made peanut butter and banana sandwiches for breakfast. Coffee and bananas were available each morning at the office which was great!

A couple of times Howler monkeys swung thru the trees and there were always birds outside my windows. Ileana and Gerardo a great hosts and their restaurant across the road is one of the best in Montezuma.
