We really enjoyed the setting of our room in the jungle where the rustic outdoor kitchen connect us to the nature . The bedroom and bath look out to the forest. The shower with 3 different heads was great. The place was built 6 years ago by European couple, Cat from France and Phil from Germany. The decoration of the lodge was very relaxing and comfortable. The swimming pool was a great escape for the hot humid weather. We also enjoyed meeting a white nosed coati, a vulture and a group of squirrel monkeys in the backyard. We woke up by all kind of sounds from animal kingdom ..... We appreciate that the hosting couple went out their way to welcome us with good fruits and assisted us.

Location was very close to the bus station and everything you need, grocery store, bank, restaurants, etc. William and his family were extremely friendly and welcoming even considering the mild language barrier. delicious breakfast too! Cameras only around the proximity of the outside of the property made us feel safe

Absolutely amazing! Jorge and his family were very kind and friendly. We were welcomed with homemade cake and pineapple 🙂 there is big shared kitchen and terrace with awesome vibe where you can relax or meet and make friends with other guests.

There are so many things to love about Puesta del Sol! The gracious host and warm welcome, the pool with a view over mangroves and out to sea. Beautiful sunsets. A lovely big bed in a comfortable room.

Beautiful sunsets and gorgeous view of Marina Pez Vela. Quiet and relaxing. Rey would take us where we needed to go if our cab was late or didn't show up that was nice. Rey was very helpful.

Gustavo's place was great! Exactly as described in the listing. Gustavo was very kind and accommodating. The property was clean and comfortable. They even offered to clean the space and change the towels, which was a nice touch. We greatly appreciated the laundry on site too. Gustavo's place was about a 10-minute walk into "downtown," which has many grocery stores, restaurants, some bars, and the bus station to Manuel Antonio, San Jose, or other surrounding areas.

spacious, isolated, nice pool and dining area, cabins far enough away to not be affected by people around the pool area. Large, nicely appointed rooms. Comfortable beds, high ceilings, spacious bathrooms with rain shower
