This was an absolutely beautiful place. The hosts were so polite and helpful and even gave us free drinks on arrival. We paid extra to have a balcony with mountain view but it was definitely worth it. The view of the mountains was ever-changing as the clouds and the sunshine came and went. It was just brilliant to relax on the balcony with a glass of their excellent beer and enjoy the view. I would definitely recommend this place.

Wonderful traditional alpine hotel with modernized facilities that still preserves the historic character of the building. The breakfast was excellent. I was particularly impressed with the COVID-19 protocols - gloves (provided) and masks required at the breakfast buffet, for example. Overall an outstanding stay - I will return.

Kerston was fantastic and made us feel very welcome. Our room was quiet and very clean. We enjoyed being able to get in and out easily and feeling like a genuine guest. Breakfast was perfect and would please anyone!

The breakfast buffet was very good with eggs, breads, fruits, juices and coffee. Barbara the owner was very hospitable and friendly. In the old section of Garmish with clean facilities. I would highly recommend staying here.

We arrived early at the hotel, but this was not a problem for our host. She made us very welcome, explaining things and allowing us to park on site. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the centres of Garmisch and Partenkirchen. Wifi connection was good, beds very comfortable. The excellent breakfast was both delicious and plentiful. This is a place to which we will be returning to.
