The property is located up a hill with beautiful trails all around. Restaurants and some shopping are also nearby (10 minute walk) Mountain views are wonderful as well.

The place is near the mountains and the nature, so you can relax without any street noises and enjoy the sound of birds. No WiFi = more self discovery and nature. :) Sabine has natural hospitality and she has this pure energy in her, which you can't really forget so easily. Very nice and cozy environment! The host is nice and warm, gave us many suggestions for the sightseeing spot. Have a nice common room with very heartwarming and Christmassy decorations. The breakfast is very nice with many varieties. In general, very nice experience, strongly recommended.

Host and hostess were very kind. Breakfast was good enough. The 3 menu dinner was excellent. We had 2 dinners during 2-night stays. Quiet and peaceful place. Wonderful scenery with a cup of coffee from the terras. I enjoyed Sauna. Wonderful. Host gave us bus cards for city transportation.

Nikolaus and his family are very nice. My room was cosy, the place was very clean, the view from the balcony was stunning! It was a part of the Bavarian fairytale. I also liked the location, close to Berchtesgaden and beautiful hiking trails. I hope next time I go to the Bavarian Alps Mariengrund will be available. Thank you for everything.
