The best place while we were traveling all around Egypt. Extremely nice staff, especially Ibrahim, who organized tours for us too. Very clean, spacious rooms and a bathroom, homemade breakfast and clean swimming pool. We truly felt like at home.

Everything about the Pharaonic Rose was perfect. I spent some of the happiest days of my life in Luxor thanks in no small part to the Pharaonic Rose. They have a rooftop with a view of the cliffs and Medinet Habu. The seating area downstairs is shady and in an oasis of a garden. It's very close to Medinet Habu, but far enough away that it is very quiet. It was so nice to have a quiet and peaceful place to return to after the bustle of the tourist areas. The food was amazing. They would just pile heaps of delicious food in front of you. The breakfast was the best I had in Egypt and they can prepare lunch and dinner for you as well. They also organized very affordable transportation for reaching different sites in the area. The family that runs the Pharaonic Rose is extremely kind and welcoming. By the end of the stay I felt like part of the family and the Pharaonic Rose felt like home. To get all that for such a reasonable price is unbelievable! It was truly a once in a lifetime experience. If you are going to Luxor, stay here.

Amazing location for seeing the tombs and temples. Tayeb is incredibly helpful with all things Egypt not just what’s around Luxor. His hospitality is the best I’ve experienced in all of Egypt. Make sure to have dinner there as it’s the best food I’ve had all trip long. Breakfast is also incredibly filling with a variety of different foods every morning. If you require a driver for anything (I recommend it for sightseeing) ask for Hassan he was a legend. He knew all of the best times to visit places to avoid the crowds and lots of local hidden gems which I would not have found otherwise. The property itself has a pool, small library and many sitting areas. The amount of literature on the surrounding area (half French/half English literature) in the library alone makes the visit worth it. Definitely take an evening or two to read through everything and to pick Tayeb’s brain about the locals tombs. He is a wealth of knowledge. Also on site there is a couple of really well behaved cute pets. The West Bank is quieter than city life on the East but that’s part of the charm. For anyone who is considering going to Luxor I would 10/10 recommend staying here.

Great stay in Luxor. The location is nice, good and very quiet. Very helpful and friendly staff. They helped us organizing the trip and provide us drivers. Brilliant location Luxor Temple, train station all within a 10 minute walk. Fresh organic breakfast with great selection to choose from. After hot and busy sightseeing day chilling out on rooftop bar with a delicious ice cold rum watching music concert . The hosts Abeer & Austin were so welcoming and gave me lots of good information about where I wanted to visit. Will definitely be back for longer stay sooooon👍🌞🥂

Complex is well mantained, clean, quiet and safe, supermarket next to the gates. Many closets, hangers and places to put things. Kitchen equipment is enough for simply meal cooking. Bed is big and comfy, clean bed linen, but no sheets. Very fast and stable wifi. Host is very helpful and fast to solve any problem.

The room we originally booked had a problem and was unavailable but Hamdi was very apologetic and offered us a number of other options. We ended up staying at the Old Nile Hotel where we were made to feel very welcome by Jordan. It was very quiet and peaceful and is right next to a small lake. We were even given a fishing rod to use which I really appreciated. Hamdi and Jordan are attentive hosts and really went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.
