Beautiful manor house, huge room on the 1st floor with a shower room and separate dressing room. Fabulous breakfast in the morning, and charming owner who was very helpful. Parking was on-street but it's a quiet area and we didn't have any problems over night.

A renovated old town house with character, this is more like a boutique B and B. Delightful old world stairs and rooms and a charming hostess. Parking is on-site, in a courtyard though narrowish gates. There are a couple of bars and restaurants within walking distance nearby, and a hotel serving good local produce for supper

Beautiful house and wonderful host. Rooms are large and elegant with high ceilings and very comfortable beds. Madame de Carco is charming and helpful and so sweet to our young and annoying children. Breakfast was lovely in her dining room. Excellent value for money and the perfect stop on your way from Calais to the alps.

A stunning house and garden. It felt a privilege to stay here. Our hostess was charming and discreet and gave us lots of tips where to visit and where to eat. The room was beautifully decorated and the whole house had an elegant charm. Neat to Fontenay Abbey, Chateau du Bussy Rabutin, Flavigny and Semur

Actually wifi was free. Our second stay here and we were not disappointed. Our host was delightful, welcoming and even remembered my preference for a large cup of coffee to accompany the very good breakfast provided. The location is quiet and you wouldn't know you were in the centre of an interesting and small town.

If you do not like creaky floorboards do not come here! The wood floors, curving staircase, tall doors and so much more make the Auberge a charming place to stay. It is a quintessentially French building. It is in the centre of a lovely town, yet it is quiet as well. The room was spacious and everything worked well, to have a kettle to make a cup f tea was a bonus. The breakfast was good, the local honey was lovely. The host was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay so much we will return to the Auberge Capucins.
