The old convent was reformed into a guest house and it, thetefore, was in the impressive historical building. The room was spacious and very clean and it was beautifilly decorated in an arabic style. Parking possible in the premises.

Amazing location, building and room. The couvent has a great history and they are doing a titanic work renovating the church.

This historic building is in a great location only a stones thro from the canal, the centre of Narbonne and the Bourg district. Manuel is a great host and tells you all about the history and you must go up to the tower to take in the views. If the indoor market has a night market then go to it as the atmosphere was tremendous.

Lovely and very spacious room, with good quality wooden furniture. The bathroom is big too with two sinks and a sizeable shower. The room has a kithen, but we didn't use it. The towels, tea and coffee are provided. The decor is very nice. The room has an A/C unit and is comfortable temperature. There is a lift, which makes it easier to get to the room with luggage. The hotel is inside the property that is a historic landmark in a process of restoration (Convent of the Carmelites). There is a tower you can go up which offers a great view of the city. The hotel is within a walking distance to the train station, but also just 4 minutes away from the central square and the Palace of the Archbishops.

Large room, plenty of light and everything you need. Very quiet. Main old town just across the canal/river, 100m to main bus stops (including to train station) and tourist office.

What a surprise. Yes, we looked at the pictures before booking the location but that was weeks before we travelled and honestly, we don't look again before we go. The hotel is located on a street that is very old and arriving at the address even the taxi driver wasn't sure he should be leaving us there. Only after about a minute on the sidewalk, the BIG green doors graciously opened and we were greeted by our host. The courtyard can accommodate 4 or 5 cars and then steps lead up to the hotel doors. Once inside, any trepidations we had were instantly removed as the facility has been renovated and decorated in grand style. Some renovation work continues but there was no noise at all from that work. It was lovely to have our own kitchen and be able to make our own meals as eating out all the time is not something we enjoy. Bonus that there is a large grocery right around the corner. The history of the building has been maintained and is displayed for the historians in your group. There is a tower to climb to view the city. And a larger elevator to reach your floor. The bathroom had a large shower and two sinks. Our suite was a family unit with two bedrooms. Some of the architectural details have been preserved.

Well located right in the city center. Comfortable and spacious rooms in amazing surroundings that used to be a convent. Simply excellent value for money.

Beautiful suite and bathroom. Staff and your wonderful. They even stored our bags for a few hours after we checked out.
