The property is a very large home that has been beautifully renovated. Jean-François is a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome. The whole house is in perfect order and spotlessly clean. The garden is also lovely. Our room was a private suite with the door opening into a small lobby with the bathroom and bedroom doors separate. It was so quiet and comfortable, we slept late! Everything you could imagine was provided in this beautiful space including home made cookies. Breakfast was perfect, Jean-François made the yogurt and the jams. Thank you so much!

The location, while quite a drive from a petrol station or supermarket, is picturesque and tranquil. The food is excellent, and our visit included a lovely continental breakfast. The facilities and swimming pool were very clean. Above all, the people who run the establishment were warm and welcoming, and very patient with my bad French.

Everything felt as though it was done with love. Homemade cookies in our room and homemade jam, marmalade, yoghurt, muffins and banana cake for breakfast alongside toasted breads and croissants. Comfortable beds dressed in ‘just right’ linens. The owners should feel very proud of what they offer weary travellers. Highly, highly recommended.

The food was fresh and innovative , cooked imaginatively and beautifully served with a smile !! Pomas is a quiet village but not far from Carcassonne or Limoux and situated in beautiful countryside.
