Easy to access after a late arrival with the ferry. Very well equipped and comfortable, this was perfect for us for a one night stopover and we really appreciated the little kitchen area with a kettle, tea and coffee and biscuits etc.

The Ram Inn is a unique experience. Tucked away in a peaceful village in Sussex, it transports you into a serene and creative space surrounded by minimal but eclectic furnishings, a big desk to write at and a deep bath to restore oneself. Downstairs it the perfect picture-book English pub serving delicious local produce from the gin through to the venison. I even managed to walk someone else’s dog up through the church yard. The staff were kind and helpful.

Alfriston is a beautiful village with plenty of pubs and cafes. The owner was lovely and very accommodating. Quaint room with a big comfy bed and everything you need. Breakfast is included. Would stay again thank you!
