The owner (Ric) was very kind and helpful. Beautiful house, lovely rooms, very clean, felt safe, and instructions were very easy to follow. Mimi (the cat) is very gentle and sweet. She only has access to the kitchen and outside, unless you let her in to the rest of the house. Naturally, we loved her so we let her roam freely through the house (when there were no other guests around) and she even spent one of the nights with us! Honestly such a great stay and would so easily recommend and go back. For breakfast, you're a 3 minute walk from Proof Social Bakehouse (pricey but AMAZING pastries, check opening times on google maps), and 5 minutes to the bus stop to go to Abingdon or Oxford (about 15mins to get to either). Mi estancia en Oxford fue corta pero maravillosa. El Sandfield Guest House está cerca de la Universidad de Brookes y cerca de parada de autobuses que te llevan al centro, al aeropuerto y a todas partes. El anfitrión Paul es sencillamente encantador. Siempre pendiente de todo y cuidando con mimo cada detalle. Si alguna vez vuelvo a Oxford sin duda volveré a Sandfield Guest House.

We expected that the hotel would be quite noisy, especially as we had a room beside the beer garden and close to the road. However this was never an issue. We also thought the hotel may have been a bit far from the High street, but it was an easy walk to all the tourist attractions. And to stroll along the river was quite idyllic.

La cercanía con todo lo importante de Oxford y con la estación de tren. La habitación todo muy limpio y cómodo. Las ventanas con una buena insonorización, daban a la carretera y no se oía nada.

The owner and the staff were great. They were friendly and welcoming. The continental breakfast was well laid out and quite varied in what was offered. Cereal, sliced meat, cheese, yogurt, fruit and toast. The guest house was within an easy walk to city center, the bus and train station as well as the Thames Path for walking.

Super clean everywhere, spacious common area and fully equipped kitchen(which was not mentioned in the ad but was a pleasant surprise). There's also a table in the garden,must be really nice to use it during summer.

Really excellent. You get a detatched seperate area all to your self, including bath room and kitchen. You can also control the heating all by yourself. Milk, tea and coffee was kindly provided, as well as a dedicated parking space :)
