The owner (Ric) was very kind and helpful. Beautiful house, lovely rooms, very clean, felt safe, and instructions were very easy to follow. Mimi (the cat) is very gentle and sweet. She only has access to the kitchen and outside, unless you let her in to the rest of the house. Naturally, we loved her so we let her roam freely through the house (when there were no other guests around) and she even spent one of the nights with us! Honestly such a great stay and would so easily recommend and go back. For breakfast, you're a 3 minute walk from Proof Social Bakehouse (pricey but AMAZING pastries, check opening times on google maps), and 5 minutes to the bus stop to go to Abingdon or Oxford (about 15mins to get to either). I travel a lot and it’s one of the best my stays! it’s really the hidden gem! this place is so cozy, comfortable, you are like coming to friends! location is perfect - on the one hand, you are like out of town, and on the other, five minutes on foot and you are in the center of Oxford! very friendly and caring staff. stylish rooms, comfortable bed, great shower. the restaurant on the ground floor so beautiful. and perfect included breakfast from restaurant grill brunch menu! delicious!

We expected that the hotel would be quite noisy, especially as we had a room beside the beer garden and close to the road. However this was never an issue. We also thought the hotel may have been a bit far from the High street, but it was an easy walk to all the tourist attractions. And to stroll along the river was quite idyllic.

Really lovely and helpful staff, the place was very quiet and I had a great sleep before the job interview. Really appreciated that the staff allowed me to leave my bags in the house while I was at the interview, and was very helpful and understanding.

The owner and the staff were great. They were friendly and welcoming. The continental breakfast was well laid out and quite varied in what was offered. Cereal, sliced meat, cheese, yogurt, fruit and toast. The guest house was within an easy walk to city center, the bus and train station as well as the Thames Path for walking.

Super clean everywhere, spacious common area and fully equipped kitchen(which was not mentioned in the ad but was a pleasant surprise). There's also a table in the garden,must be really nice to use it during summer.

Really excellent. You get a detatched seperate area all to your self, including bath room and kitchen. You can also control the heating all by yourself. Milk, tea and coffee was kindly provided, as well as a dedicated parking space :)
