Lovely b&b a 5 minute walk from the start of Lord Street, and about 25 minutes' walk from Victoria Park (where the Southport British Musical Fireworks Championship is held each year). The room was really clean, the breakfast was well cooked and served in a comfortable, clean dining room. We received a warm welcome and really enjoyed our stay; we shall return next year!

Exceptional place to stay. Beautifully furnished. Everything that you could need in the kitchen, including a washing machine. Very clean and comfortable room. Highly recommend if staying in Southport.

Can't wish anything better in terms of location. Hotel is very clean and well maintained. Warm welcome on arrival from host Tony and throughout our stay made us feel like visiting good old friend. Breakfast was exceptional with options to chose for each day and prepared to the high standard.

The Norwood Guest House was exceptional , as we had stayed in Southport many times over the years and never come across quality,comfort,friendliness and value for money like this little guest house .The hosts Valentina and Richard work so hard to make you feel so welcome ,nothing is too much trouble and the breakfasts are superb ,so much choice .Its absolutely spotless and welcoming ,so near to the seafront too and round the corner from some fab shopping on Lord Street.Highly recommended 11 out of ten !!!!!!ps even parking at the front !!

Gary and Shirley couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome and comfortable - friendly and always willing to do anything necessary to ensure our comfort but also with a sensible set of rules and requests to ensure all guests respected each other's stay - a real gem of a place which I would gladly recommend to anyone visiting Southport - the omelette Gary makes is legendary 😋

The hotel is near located to the beach and a few steps away from the city center. It was easy to walk to the train station, which brings you super quick to Manchester or Liverpool. The host was amazing. Super nice and helpful. The breakfast was handmade and she literally can feel that she made it with her heart. I had a beautiful stay there and I highly recommend the place.
