I enjoyed my stay at Sandpark Place. Esther was a hospitable host. The house is within walking distance to West Hills Mall (which includes a grocery store, a department store, and several shops), and is about a 15 minute drive to Bojo beach. The development where the house is, is peaceful. I enjoyed sitting outside on one of the balconies. I also felt safe as there is a guard for the development. I would stay again.

Generally the apartment feels like home away from home. I feel like the owners paid attention to the comfort and needs of guests from abroad. I love the overall cleanliness of the entire apartment and the amenities were all accessible and complete. The hostess Evelyn was very kind and helpful and readily available to advise on local issues. Always with a broad sincere smile. I really appreciated that. Eyram the manager was also very gracious in her reception.

I've stayed here before, and they always make me feel comfortable and welcome. I like the bright room and the multiple common lounging areas. This place just makes me feel at home. It's a little outside of center, but for some things in Accra, that's an advantage. Glovo is your friend for food delivery. Assume an hour to get your order. Use Bolt or Yango to get around town. Kenkey House is a short walk for a cheap meal, if you like kenkey. If you're brave, Madina Market is not far (10 minutes) and a fun adventure. It's a truly local market. Fabric selection is quite good. Madina is also a major tro tro station if you want to get local transport.

What a Great Place!! When I found AlanVal Suites on Hotel.com the first question I had was, “I wonder if this place looks like these pictures.” Knowing how easy it is to misrepresent a property and given the fact that we were going to be traveling to Ghana from the US, I wasn’t sure what to expect. When we arrived at AlanVal Suites we found that everything we saw in the photos was true. The property is gorgeous! The staff is excellent and welcoming. The management is professional, inviting and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious! The area was quiet and peaceful and made us feel safe and secure. I think I’ve found my new lodging place in Accra.

The staff were exceptionally helpful. They went out of their way to assist from the arrival at the airport, linking me up with a driver and even assisting me during one of the days when I was stranded commuting to a conference. Sure, there may be other pricier and more luxurious hotels in the same area, but Charis is a small family owned business you will be promoting. I especially thank Emmanuel, he was very helpful and the food was very nice too.
