I had the cheapest room and still the matterece was great quality and so comfortable. The bathroom is like from a fairy tale, so speciouse and magical. The price was relatively cheap and all around you had bars, restaurants, pharmacies and shops with a lot of choice.... To the lake it were 50 metres by foot and the water was chilly and clean. Drifting up to the property via boat and taking the funicular up to the hotel is a must - so unique and felt like I had entered the video game Riven/Myst! Such a special experience that my kids and I will never forget. The lake set up is beautiful and so quiet/private, and the pool option is also lovely with great views of the lake. Everything was beautiful, the attention to detail was so appreciated, and their tours are fantastic!

A good place to relax from being on the road. Of course one expects early morning roosters and dog barking in Central America. The coffee was good, as was the breakfast.
