The owner was the sweetest local woman. She gave me beer and grapes as a welcome gift, then invited me to try her home-made alcohol and gave me a small bottle of my favourite. The location with the balcony looking out on the beach was great to wake up to and for sunset.

Vilma was a great host, she helped us with finding the location and all the other info we needed, room was very clean with all the facilities we needed for couple of days. The location was perfect, smack down in the city center and near the beach.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bako Komiza! The apartment was clean, spacious, bright and equipped with everything we needed to relax for the week. The views of the mountain and the sea were incredible, which is why we utilized the terrace quite a lot! It was the perfect spot to enjoy meals, morning coffees, and a glass of wine in the evenings. We also enjoyed the company of the sweetest, most loving cat named Marko. He made our stay so memorable :) Komiza is such a charming town with lots of little places to explore, so the 10 minute walk to the center was very convenient. The owner was also very accommodating. He communicated with us ahead of our stay and also greeted us on the first night when we arrived (late). It was great to know that he was available by text if we ever needed anything. We would love to come back again!

Wonderful large terrace. Great for breakfast, drying clothes and having dinner while the sun sets. Very kind and friendly host who lives downstairs should you need anything. Only 5 minutes walk to water and even less for the supermarket and bus back and fore to the ferry at Vis Town.

It does not get any better than this! We felt at home from the very beginning.The family is very accommodating, hearty and helps wherever asked. The house, our apartment and everything around is super nice, absolutely clean and offers everything you need + even more. The location and the entire island of Vis is also top. From the accommodation you can reach all the beautiful beaches and bays as well as the towns of Vis and Komiza in a short time and absolutely uncomplicated (provided that you have a car. But a car is needed on Vis anyway). Thanks again to the family. We highly recommend the accommodation and definitely come back when it should go to VIS again. Best regards, Danilo and Lena

Very cute little flat with an amazing view at the beach. We stayed there a weekend and we would definitely recommend this place to other people if they are looking for the perfect getaway from work. Also Komiza is just beautiful!
