This new guest house located in a former heritage haveli has a lot of cachet and offers large and comfy and nicely decorated rooms. Very soft beds (not always the case in India). The food (breakfast and diner) is excellent. The family that runs this business is very nice. We had some great discussions with the sons. The guest is perfectly located at the foot of the fort and easy to travel around from. The terrasse, where you can have your meals, offers a fantastic view on the fort.

If you are planning to make a trip to Jodhpur, I fully recommend to stay in this lovely Guest House. Several reasons: - Rooms are modern, very clean and well decorated, - It is conveniently situated in the Old City and has a rooftop with quite nice views, - The family running the business is just adorable : they are super friendly, polite, always aiming to help but also quite respective about your privacy - Food is super good, so having breakfast / dinner while enjoying the views is a very good idea - all places by walk possible only 5 to 10 mint distance. - Maddy also did free pick up from the railway station - We also took a cooking class from Heena - I also bought 1 sari from Heena, it was only 300, it was very cheap and beautiful. What an incredible place! The rooms are beautiful and clean, and there is an amazing view from the rooftop overlooking the old city and fort. The owners and staff are the absolute best and create such a warm and inviting family atmosphere. The food I had was delicious and location is food, tucked away in a quiet and safe alley but still close to the main market and sights

We were looking for a homestay and were very happy to find Magan Niwas, which lived up to our expectations. As we had driven down from Noida, we needed parking for our car and were happy that we got it on the premises. We stayed in Suite room and found it neat,very clean and comfortable. There was a small garden sit out where we had our breakfast and evening tea.As we were in Jodhpur to attend official functions, we didn't have any meals, however , I am sure it is our loss. The host, Mr Vikram Rathore, and his daughter Radhika looked after us extremely well and treated us like family members. I will certainly recommend this homestay which is maintained very well, kept spotlessly clean and is conveniently located near the market and places of interest.
