The location is very unique, with lots of little carefully selected details and decoration. The host is so s^nice, giving lots of information and stories, while always respecting privacy. To relax in the whirl pool after a day full of excoursions was so nice.

- 6.5Scored 6.5PleasantRated pleasant· 144 reviewswe had a small room with a double bed and own bathroom (shower and toilet), which was ok for two nights on our road trip. the guesthouse has also a kitchen and a hot tub to be used by everybody. the guesthouse is located next to a farmhouse (surrounded by „nothing“), and is close to asbirgy and dettifoss & selfoss, which was good for our choice. the owner was nice but not very communicative.

Nice mountains and there is a crook nearby. Hope come back and stay more days. Staff was very helpful. Saw my first northern lights (a little bit of cloudy weather) there. We had a very long day, had to get rescued from Dettifoss and the host welcomed us to an evening meal. We hadn’t had a proper meal in two days and they catered for us specifically as we only eat Vegetarian food which was very kind of them.
