The room was lovely, clean and bright and a good size. Bathroom was clean and modern - shared with the other guests. The lounge had a huge sofa plus two tables for eating/working. Our hosts were very welcoming and informative. I wish we had been able to stay longer and enjoy the books in the lounge and the very comfy beds.

Very friendly welcome by our host - there were even small home-baked cakes to welcome us.

The breakfast was wonderful, everything is homemade (divine jams, bread, cakes, waffles, and so on), even if we were the only guests at that time. This really is a piece of paradise and we will make sure to come back to see the beautiful northern Iceland in summer!

The soak in the hot tub was wonderful after a long day on the bicycle. Expansive views of the countryside, which was so quiet and peaceful at night. We enjoyed a tasty breakfast, including delicious pancakes and jam which had been home-made by our gentle and gracious hostess. We will be back!
