The room was extremely nice, super clean and comfortable. The view was fantastic and the location perfection. We enjoyed being so close to all the town has to offer and above the restaurant was a real pleasure. The family that runs the business is friendly and helpful. We were surprised how quiet the room is, you don’t hear anything-amazing soundproofing. Bonus for the strong air conditioning and fabulous shower. We wish we booked a longer stay!

The location is perfect as it's a 5 minute walk from the ferry or bus drop off. Walk out the door and you are in the midst of shopping, restaurants and sense of a distant time way back. From the room there was a great view of the harbor to watch the boats and people go by. Our host Alicia was very helpful pointing out the city attractions and a number of good restaurants close by.

The location is beautiful. It’s so peaceful and quiet and a nice getaway from the business of Portovenere. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom was renovated and very nice.

The location was quiet and lovely, extremely close to the heart of Porto Venere and also to the public and private beaches. We initially went there to see Cinque Terre, but in the end were more impressed by the charming, romantic and much less crowded Porto Venere. The room was clean and well suited for the two of us. Beppe and Rosella are really warm people and attentive hosts. They cook breakfast for all the guests and provide all the information you may need, and inside advice. Also, the view from the terrace is amazing!

we really really loved this property! the location in Portovenere was perfect, the room was very clean, bed was comfortable, and the host, Fabio, and his wife, Paula, were so so so kind! They gave us recommendations on what to do, helped us figure out the bus system, and were so nice to talk to! We recommend staying here and will come back for sure next time we are in Italy!!

The location is great - very central with beautiful views of the small marina and the island across the water. The staff are amazing- Katerina is so helpful and the girl who prepared our delicious breakfast each morning was fabulous. Small room but works beautifully.

Still thinking about this little slice of paradise... Silvano's warm hospitality made us feel immediately welcome and at home. He does a fantastic job of keeping the rooms clean and comfortable and making sure you have everything you need. Breakfast was abundant - sweet and savoury dishes to suit all different tastes. We enjoyed waking up and having our breakfast by the window facing the sea, it was a truly magical experience. Portovenere is slightly out of the way, but this is what makes it very peaceful and special. It is not overrun with tourists so it does offer a somewhat authentic experience. I will forever cherish Silvano's friendliness and generosity... it is something that makes you remember a place with much fondness and I hope I have the blessing of visiting again some day.

Nice spacious room, including a small balcontact with harbour views. The noice of the restaurant below didn’t really bother us, we sleept with the balcontact door open. Friendly host, who offered a complementary breakfast.

My wife and I stayed at Capitolare Suite Tower for our honeymoon and had the most amazing time in Portovenere. What Andrea has done with the tower is truly magical and unique. Everything about our time there was perfect. A place we will never forget. To say the service was excellent would be an understatement. It really needs to be experienced first-hand. When we arrived, Sergio greeted us at the train station in La Spezia and, from that moment forward, would help make this a special stay. Sergio is one-of-a-kind and would grace us with information, history, suggestion, and, of course, friendly conversation at all times. When he tells you to try the local breakfast of focaccia and a cappuccino at Moon Bar, do it! My wife and I owe a lot to Sergio for helping make this a trip of a lifetime. Even when it rained on one morning and something had to be canceled, the alternative to visit and the walk from San Terenzo to Lerici for lunch to Tellaro was perfection. They really care and it shows. The amount of hard work that has gone into the building and goes into your stay is worth the visit alone! Greta, the massage therapist, will help you recover from a long day and have you feeling ready for the following adventure. She was the one who suggested we visit San Terenzo, Lerici and Tellaro the night before we had rain! Rosanna and Barbara were our two chefs for a local cuisine tasting menu. They worked around an obscure and difficult food allergy that I have to prepare amazing seafood-inspired dishes from the region. Everything was to die for. The pesto making class and dinner that followed was also very unique and tasted great. Both Rosanna and Barbara were so nice and friendly that they gifted my wife a small Portovenere skyline bracelet and a very nice handwritten card!
