Yo and Ellen were warm and friendly. They offered me the best plan to enjoy Miyajima and even Hiroshima! If you plan to visit the area, you shouldn't miss this place because they are very knowledgeable and will give you the best local tips to enjoy your stay. They went out of their way to make my stay a little special, and I'm super grateful. I even made a friend with a fellow traveler staying there. :) I think this is a great place for travelers around the world to get together and learn about the local culture and interact with locals. This was a pleasant surprise of a stay. So charming and private. Loved our host Kousuke and his attention to detail. Felt very well taken care of and appreciated the curated feel of the stay. The lovely breakfast was a bonus. Conveniently located to sites of interest on Miyajima. Would love to come again.

Very easy to find and a short walk from railway station. Close to Miyajima Island and incredible views across the water. Really great facilities with nice touches of loads of drinks (alcoholic and not alcoholic you could purchase (very reasonably priced). Loved all the wood interior. It was a very cool place.

And the price was quite cheap so we expected something small and dinky but it was way better than expected. The room was heaps nicer than the photos showed, and the self check in was incredibly easy. The bathroom was actually a really good size for a hotel especially compared to other places we’ve stayed in the past weeks. They provided so much for us in the room as well like single use products, pet products and general amenities.

The price is nothing compared to accommodation options on the island, and the hostel is literally just 3 minutes away from the port. It’s not the best hostel I’ve stayed at, but they provide everything necessary, the staff reply very fast on the app and are helpful, and it’s very cheap.
